Future Proofing America’s Infrastructure for a Changing World

Ready for Anything

Hosted by United for Infrastructure

Featuring Senator Shelley Moore Capito, Secretary Ray LaHood, Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley, Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt, and many more!

Resilience – broadly defined – is front of mind for many Americans and policymakers on both sides of the aisle. How do we prepare our infrastructure for the challenges at our doorstep and on the horizon? For the next pandemic? The next cyber-security attack? The next hurricane or inland flooding season? Or for the demographic, cultural, and working and learning trends that will shape our society? In order to ensure continuity of service and help our communities adapt in real-time to a changing world, our infrastructure must be resilient, flexible, and forward looking. This event will discuss those challenges and trends, and what good policy and investments are needed to ensure our infrastructure is ready for whatever the next 50 years throws at it.
