The 9th annual United for Infrastructure (formerly Infrastructure Week) will take place from May 11th to 18th, 2020. United for Infrastructure is led by its Steering Committee and more than 500 Affiliates telling the story of America’s infrastructure, its impact on the economy and society, and what is needed to bring it into the 21st century. These groups and thousands of individuals around the country will host events, tour new and innovative projects, talk about infrastructure in national, local and social media, and discuss solutions to our infrastructure challenges – from funding and financing to the role of the Federal government to technology innovation and sustainability.
United for Infrastructure, now in its 9th year, is a not-for-profit organization based in Washington, D.C. The organization was founded and is led by its Steering Committee – a bipartisan team that includes leading business groups, labor unions, and think tanks working to improve America’s infrastructure. Our Steering Committee consists of the AFL-CIO, the American Society of Civil Engineers, Building America’s Future, Business Roundtable, the Brookings Metropolitan Policy Program, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Manufacturers, and the Value of Water Campaign.
There is no cost to join as an Affiliate, and our staff will support your organization, facilitate partnerships, and help coordinate events and media to highlight the infrastructure issues critical to your stakeholders.

United for Infrastructure is non-partisan, is not affiliated with any political candidate, and does not take a position on any legislation or elections. We are excited to work with any group interested in talking about the importance of America’s roads, bridges, rail, ports, airports, water and sewer systems, the energy grid, and more.
United fir Infrastructure doesn’t take place in any one location, but instead happens from May 11th to 18th, 2020 across America and online as organizations of all types host events and share their stories about the importance of infrastructure to our economy, jobs, national security, and more.
United for Infrastructure does not provide space for groups to host events, but we are happy to work with you to find partners, as well as promoting your work through our website, blog, and social media.
We’ll launch our national event calendar in March and regularly update it. You can sort by date and location. Many of our events will be webcast, so even if you can’t be there in person check the description to see if you can watch online. Also, if nothing is currently happening in your community we encourage you to work with us to launch an event, walking tour, or whatever else you’re interested in pursuing. Learn more on the participate section of our website and contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We’re happy to work you to get access to our events, speakers, steering committee members, affiliates and more. Please email our Communications Director Abby Gardner to learn more.
