As Infrastructure Week comes to a close, United for Infrastructure is energized by the momentum, collaboration, and commitment we witnessed across the country. Our coalition convened, organized, participated in, and attended dozens of events and conversations with leaders from every corner of the infrastructure community — Republicans and Democrats, state and local officials, public and private sector partners.
Throughout the week, stakeholders consistently commended the leadership of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee for charting a bipartisan path and keeping our nation’s transportation systems moving forward. We are grateful to committee members for advancing the BUILD America 250 Act and look forward to continued engagement with Congress around our core priorities:
Sustained and robust federal infrastructure investment
A solvent and reliable Highway Trust Fund
Permitting reform and streamlined approvals
Strong investments in workforce, innovation, and resilience
Through our Building a Stronger America campaign, United for Infrastructure will continue to elevate the voices and experiences of local leaders who know firsthand how infrastructure investment strengthens communities, drives economic growth, and improves quality of life.
Infrastructure Week has ended, but our work continues.
