Meet the Leaders Building Stronger Infrastructure — Infrastructure Week speakers announced!

Infrastructure Week 2025 is quickly coming down the tracks, and we are excited to announce that Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, Chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, will be the morning keynote speaker at UFI's signature Infrastructure Week event on May 13!

Chairman Capito is committed to building our nation’s infrastructure and encouraging economic development. We look forward to hearing her insights as the Senate Committee gears up to debate a new surface transportation bill.

Significant and impactful infrastructure investment doesn't happen without a broad coalition of supporters. UFI's Steering Committee and Partnership Network are the secret sauce that has helped turn conversations around infrastructure funding into action. UFI welcomes infrastructure leaders from these groups to the stage during Infrastructure Week's signature event to discuss the future of infrastructure in America and how the next surface transportation bill can build and improve upon the historic Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Joining us for Infrastructure Week 2025 are:

  • Brendan Bechtel, Chairman & CEO, Bechtel;

  • David Gilford, Policy Lead, Sidewalk Infrastructure Partners;

  • Commissioner Eileen Higgins of Miami-Dade County;

  • Feniosky Peña-Mora, President, ASCE;

  • Rob Puentes, Vice President & Director, Brookings Metro;

  • Greg Regan, President, AFL-CIO TTD;

  • Mayor Daniel Rickenmann of Columbia, S.C.;

  • Kristen Silverberg, President & COO, Business Roundtable; and

  • Mary Ellen Wiederwohl, President & CEO, Accelerator for America.
